Join us for a calming, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own moss-inspired coaster using soft yarn textures and a small latch hook.
We’ll guide you through every step as you explore a soothing mix of pompon print yarn, coral fleece and cotton yarn, tying each strand into a lush, tactile design.

Choose from two of Dear Craft’s signature kits:
Spring Ring – soft greens and whites, like dew on fresh moss
Sunny Nest – warm oranges and yellows, with a yellow centre and green moss-like speckles
What to expect:
🧶 No experience needed – complete beginners welcome!
🪵 All tools and materials provided – a FREE Dear Craft's moss coaster kit (worth £25) to take home including yarns (pompon print yarn, coral fleece, cotton yarn), fabrics (a mesh fabric with printed pattern and a felt fabric as the backing), and tools (a small latch hook, also known as a tiny bodger, a thick needle, a cross stitch needle and thread, fabric glue and a spatula)

Generally recommended for ages 6 and up, but the ideal age can depend on a child's fine motor skills and ability to follow instructions. The tools we're using are a small latch hook, a thick needle, a cross stitch needle and threads, a bottle of fabric glue and a spatula.
No! This workshop is beginner-friendly, and we’ll guide you through every step. For those of you who know latch hook, we use the same tool, but with adaptive techniques to create loops and knots to tie various yarns onto the mesh fabric.
