Moston Brook Bat Walks
Come and join the Lancashire Wildlife Trust this September to discover the world of bats on your doorstep!
We will be leading two bat walks around the Moston Brook area of north Manchester; an urban nature hotspot that is the perfect habitat for our furry flying friends.
Directions information for the two dates:
Friday 16th September - meet us on the car park off The Links (use postcode M40 3NT for directions)
Friday 23rd September - meet us at the HQ of NEPHRA (use postcode M40 3TB for directions)
Enjoy a first hand experience of spotting different bat species that live here with the help of our bat detectors and friendly knowledgeable guides.
So come along if you want to learn more about the mysterious lives of bats!

How much does the event cost?
The event is free!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is not suitable for children under the age of 7.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring a torch and ensure you are wearing suitable clothing and footwear, as the paths may be muddy. Refreshments will be provided before the walk. Please do not bring your dogs.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is some space available within the car park, but if you have to park on nearby roads please be respectful when arriving and leaving the area.
