Moth Miracles: a talk
Overview
Malcolm will discuss and illustrate memorable encounters with this hugely diverse order of insects, with an astonishing range of shapes, sizes and colours.
Undeservedly unloved by many, moths have evolved amazing life cycles and survival strategies. They are also of great environmental importance and act as sensitive markers of environmental degradation. Climate warming in recent years has caused significant and worrying changes to moth populations but with a bonus of exciting new arrivals to the Borders.
The talk will be at Langlee Community Centre, Marigold Drive, Galashiels, TD1 2LP.
