Moth monitoring and identification morning
Sat 24 June 2017, 09:00 – 12:00 BST
Higgy, a founder of the North Somerset Nature Net and a leading figure in helping to protect local wildlife will be at The Community Farm for a moth identification morning.
Come join Higgy and The Community Farm team as we discover more about the wonderful moths that inhabit our countryside. There are over 2,500 moth species in the UK and we hope to identify some that live on the farm.
Not all moths are brown and many have interesting names like Buff-tip, Elephant hawk moth, grey dagger and Ruby tiger.
There are limited spaces so please book early to avoid disappointment.
* This event is weather dependant as we won't be able to trap any moths in particularly wet weather.
