Mother Church & Masterpiece: Maintaining St Paul’s Cathedral for the Future

As a busy working church and a popular visitor attraction, the demands on the 300 year old cathedral are manifold and multiform. In this talk the Cathedral Surveyor will outline: the challenges he faces in his day to day work maintaining and enhancing the fabric for its many uses; the major projects he has completed during his surveyorship and how his contribution is helping to prepare the cathedral for the next three years.
This talk is by Oliver Caroe, Surveyor of the Fabric to St Paul’s Cathedral since 2012.
Admission is free but places are limited and must be booked in advance.
Wheelchair access is via a lift in the South Churchyard.
