We welcome you to join us for this afternoon event on 20th September at the University of Surrey where we shall launch findings from a Wellcome Trust funded project led by Dr. Ranjana Das on 'Migrant Mothers, Perinatal Mental Health and Health Communication'. The project conducted qualitative research with migrant mothers in the UK with a particular fous on their communicative challenges when experiencing and needing support for perinatal mental health difficulties. The project was done in collaboration with Nadine Page at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey.

The launch event will also see an array of other University of Surrey projects on families present findings. We will be joined by Prof Rachel Brooks, Dr Kate Burningham, Dr Venetia Evergeti, Dr Vicki Harman and Dr Paul Hodkinson who will present findings on a wide variety of projects about - fathers, shared primary care, paternal mental health, grandparenting practices, youth, consumption and food.
