Trainers: Mandy Jennings and Mel Cash, Paje Consultancy Ltd and Associate Trainer

Bio: Mandy has vast experience in hotels and venues and has managed many high performance teams. Her energy and drive are matched by her absolute professionalism – and it is no surprise that her work experience encompassing over 25 years, includes senior/director level sales positions with Thistle, Forte, Le Meridien and Marriott Hotels plus experience and reputation as Sales Director for the De Vere Group and Principal Hayley Hotels & Venues. As well as running her own consulting and training company she is the Sales Director for Venues of Excellence.

Melanie has worked in the hospitality industry in key sales roles for over twenty years and now offers support to businesses both large and small as a consultant and trainer. Her experience working with leading brands including; Marriott, Hilton, The Grove, The Belfry and Rocco Forte to name just a few, has provided the firm foundation to enable her to offer a variety of Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Leadership training and development support to other organisations.

Objective: Learn how to increase business by motivating your teams and enhancing the guest experience through confident up-selling

Course Content:

  • What is a sales culture - what does great look like?
  • To understand how your competitors operate in the sales arena
  • To gain great sales techniques to include into your daily routine as a General Manager or team leader
  • To understand the framework for professinal selling and gaining excellent results
  • To assist in pulling together a target hit list and gain new business for your hotel
  • How to gain information on customers to enable you to sell in the right proposition and increase sales
  • To understand account management processes and implement in your hotel
  • Creating a "yes we can" culture in your hotel or venue
