What will this session cover?
Motivational Interviewing is a successful and popular counselling style and has spread beyond a traditional counselling setting. This course is aimed at anyone interested in using motivational interviewing skills to help people with behaviour change, and anyone wanting to find out more about motivational interviewing and motivational engagement. The session looks at:
- The spirit of Motivational Interviewing
- Four Process Model in Motivational Interviewing
- Basic strategies in Motivational Interviewing
Attending this session will count towards the Plymouth Award (1 hour in the Working Life category).
