About this event

Enhanced Rider Scheme:

The official post-test rider development training course as approved and accredited by the DVSA.

Tailored to your individual needs and learning style - this one to one, or one to two instructed course will enable you to develop enhanced riding skills including:

Safer cornering, effective braking, hazard avoidance, making progress, safer over-taking and filtering, machine handling skills, slow-speed riding and rider confidence.

Course coaching covers both theory and practical elements of rider development. A successful final assessment may attract motorbike insurance discounts at annual renewal.

Please Note: This course is intended for those riding their own road-legal motorbikes (ideally 600cc or larger). We do not lend or rent motorcycles for training.

Frequently asked questions

Does Compass provide bikes?

No, each client must bring and ride their own legal, roadworthy, fully insured motorbike for all training sessions as the benefit is in learning to get the best from their own machine.

Will we get breaks for toilets and drinks?

Yes, regular stops will be included throughout the training day

Are timings exact?

Apart from meet point / start timings - training and end timings given are estimates. Each training course is bespoke to the needs of the clients and so therefore some end time variation can occur, but this will be discussed as the training day progresses. Please allow clear time after the course.
