About this event

Course participants will gain an overview of the importance of providing high quality mouth care in palliative and End of Life care patients.

The session will cover oral assessment, delivery of oral care, including treatment of a limited range of oral problems, in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence’s (NICE) guidelines. The session will also consider techniques in provision of care to those patients who are resistant to mouth care.

This training is for HCAs and Registered Nurses delivering palliative and End of Life care to patients.
