Move Beyond Cancer – Register Your Interest

Move Beyond Cancer is a new community initiative supporting Somali, Iranian and Eastern European residents in Barnet who are living with, recovering from or otherwise affected by cancer.

By signing up here, you are registering your interest in joining our gentle weekly activity sessions, starting on Tuesday 16 December at 11am.

What the sessions involve:

• Gentle aerobic exercise that is suitable for people at different stages of treatment or recovery
• A supportive and friendly group environment
• Encouragement to improve strength, energy and wellbeing
• A chance to meet others with similar experiences

Sessions take place every Tuesday at 11am at the Burnt Oak Leisure Centre. There will be 16 sessions.

What happens after you register

After you register your interest, your name, email and phone number will be shared with our activity partners GLL, who will contact you to complete their pre-session questionnaire. This ensures that activities are safe and appropriate for you.

You will not need to complete the GLL form before registering here.

Withdrawing consent

If at any point you would like to withdraw your consent for your information to be held or shared for the purposes of this programme, please contact CB Plus AND GLL directly, and your details will be removed from our system.
