Join us for this very special World Health Day event - bringing together women affected by cancer to experience the power and joy of dance.
Taking place in the beautiful and newly refurbished Barts North Wing Great Hall at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, this uplifting workshop invites you to connect with yourself, with your body, with the special surroundings, and with others.
Led by professional dance artists you will be guided through a creative and contemporary dance session, supported by inspiring music, and held in a community of care. The dancing will be followed by relaxation time and discussion, so that all aspects of our physical, mental and social health are tended to.
The workshop is open to women with any type of cancer, at any stage, and women who are recovering from cancer. We also welcome women who are supporting someone affected by cancer, either personally (a friend or relative) or professionally (those working in healthcare / oncology).
No experience with dance is needed - just come as you are.
