Join us for an online talk and demonstration by Yu Feixia, an experienced Qigong and Taichi trainer to celebrate World Mental Health Day with practical tools to ease stress, uplift mood, and restore balance.

In this talk, Feixia will delve into the concept of Qi, the vital life force that flows through our bodies. She willdiscuss how imbalances in Qi, whether deficiency or excess, can manifest as depression and anxiety. Understanding this connection is crucial for recognising how Qigong can support mental wellness.

She will also examine the powerful link between movement, breath, and mental health. By integrating gentle Qigong movements with mindful breathing, Feixia will explain how we can create a harmonious flow thatalleviates stress, anxiety, and low mood.

This is going to be an interactive session where Feixia will demonstrate simple Qigoing movements and lead the audience to practice mindfulness and grounding techniques through body awareness.

By the end of the session, you'll leave with a short take-home routine that you can incorporate into your daily life.
