Move Well - Feel Stronger
Overview
This small group 6 week course starts on Friday 9th January and runs for the follow 5 Fridays. (9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th January and 6th, 13th Feb).
Living with Parkinson’s can make coordination and movement more difficult. This practical course uses the Alexander Technique to help you move with greater ease, confidence, and control in everyday life.
Through simple activities and gentle guidance, you’ll learn how to:
· Improve coordination and balance
· Build strength and physical confidence
· Reduce stiffness, tension, and pain
· Move more freely in daily life and exercise
· Feel more confident using walking aids and navigating steps
The Alexander Technique is a proven method that helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and create healthier movement patterns. Instead of trying to “fix” posture or force the body to move in a rigid way, it teaches you how to find ease, flow, and flexibility—qualities that support better coordination and overall well-being.
In this course, we’ll explore how the whole body and mind work together—from breathing and eye movement to walking and everyday tasks. You’ll discover tools that can help you move more comfortably and confidently, both in class and in your daily life.
Many participants find that the skills they learn bring renewed motivation and a sense of achievement—showing that what once felt difficult can become possible.
Join us to learn how the Alexander Technique can help you move with greater comfort, confidence, and ease.
