Get ready for a day of fun and adventure as Movie Mayhem comes to the Maghera Walled Garden! Hosted by Mid Ulster District Council, this free family fun day is packed with entertainment and for all ages.
Inside the Walled Garden (ticket required for your chosen one hour time slot as displayed on your "ticket type")
Step into the movies with:
Kids Zone:
– Arts & Crafts
– Sensory Play
– Walkabout characters
The Greatest Showman Zone:
– Circus skills workshops
– Walkabout magician
– Larger-than-life ringmaster
Dinosaur Area:
– Meet our life-size T-Rex (available at various tims throughout the day, with breaks)
– Baby dinosaur petting zoo
– Fossil displays and palaeontologist station
– Jurassic Jeep photo booth
Plus:
– A magical meet & greet with Glinda the Good Witch
On the Green (no ticket required)
Enjoy more fun outside the garden:
– Climbing wall
– Giant inflatable games including Kick & Stick target, Basketball shoot and Penalty shootout
– Outdoor movie screening of "SING 2" for the whole family
*Please note, our characters will need breaks throughout the day.
Food & Drink
A range of tasty options will be available to purchase throughout the day including BBQ favourites, coffee, sweet treats, ice cream and a chocolate fountain!
Ticket Information
Half of the tickets for each hour slot will go on sale at 12noon on Tuesday 26th August, with the remaining half going on sale at 7pm on Tuesday 26th August.
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance to access activities inside the Walled Garden.
Please book one ticket per person attending, including children and toddlers.
Each ticket allows one-hour access to the Walled Garden zone. Please note, the overall event time will display on your ticket but your selected ticket when registering will have a one-hour designated time slot for inside the walled garden. Please make sure you are aware of this.
No ticket is required to enjoy entertainment on the green outside the walled garden.
