Join us for a Palestinian film night, at Side Street Manchester.
Tucked away in Side Street's hidden room, we'll be screening Omar. The film is set against the backdrop of Palestinian resistance and occupation and will make for a powerful and beautiful evening.
The venue?
Think cosy plush interiors, candle lit tables and ultimate comfort. The bar is open for drinks and snacks, and the vibes are set for a perfect Sunday evening. Most people come on their own to meet new people (everyone is lovely!) so you're in great company. But whether you come alone or with a friend, we promise it'll be an amazing evening - and such a great way to connect others who stand on the right side of history.
Where does the money go?
All profits from the event will be donated to Reviving Gaza; a mutual aid group who work on the ground in Palestine, getting aid to those who need it most. They have distributed thousands of meals, millions of litres of water as well as providing cash assistance and psycho-social support to families and children.
Here's what to expect:
- a cosy candle-lit film screening, with likeminded people
- cocktails, mocktails and snacks available at the bar
- delicious sweet and salted popcorn from PROPER
- time to connect and chat with new friends
Grab a spot, knowing that every penny of profits from our events goes straight to those who need it most.
Spaces are very limited.
Can't wait to see you there!
