Moving and Handling People - Practical Session

This 1/2 course includes the opportunity to practise and apply the principles of moving people safely in a variety of situations; individually, in a team, and with the assistance of equipment.

Candidates will leave the course with the knowledge and skills required to move people safely whilst ensuring that the risk of personal harm is reduced and that health and dignity are retained

This course is ideal for new starters, those who have already covered the theory of moving and ahndling via e-learning whio need to cover the practical elements or those requiring refresher training working within health and social care settings.
