Moving and Handling in Care - 1 Day
This course is suitable for all care staff new to a provider service and introduces the legislation, theory and practical aspects of Moving People Safely.
It meets the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards.

Presentation, demonstration and group discussion, including practice in the use of handling equipment such as hoists, slide sheets and belts, in addition to mobility equipment.
None, although delegates should have good reading, listening and speaking English skills, at least Entry Level 3 equivalent.
Please note – This is a practical course and delegates should be fit to work when attending.
Certificates of attendance will be issued which can be used for evidence towards the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards
