Barnardo’s Cymru in partnership with the Welsh Government would like to invite you to the second annual Reflect Conference.

The Reflect programme supports women and their partners that have had one or more children removed through care proceedings and are at high risk of having further children that could be subject to the same experience. Reflect delivers intensive, long term support to these women and their partners offering practical, social and therapeutic support with a focus on the development of new skills and taking positive steps for the future.

Keynote speakers: Professor Karen Broadhurst & Dr Claire Mason, University of Lancaster

The aims of the conference will be to;

• Hear directly from Reflect service users

• Share the impact and progress that the Reflect project has enabled or supported

• Discuss best practice and common challenges in relation to working with women and men involved in child care proceedings

• Share the CASCADE’s evaluation report of the Reflect delivery model

Reflect is delivered by a range of providers in Wales and all services will be represented. Regional Services will also deliver a range of workshops including Letter Box contact, Well-being, the Reflect Journey and ‘Baby and Me’ (more details to follow).

Caiff Reflect ei ddarparu gan amrywiaeth o ddarparwyr yng Nghymru a bydd yr holl wasanaethau yn cael eu cynrychioli. Bydd Gwasanaethau Rhanbarthol hefyd yn darparu amrywiaeth o weithdai, gan gynnwys Cyswllt blwch post; Llesiant; Taith Reflect a ‘Babi a Fi’ (rhagor o fanylion i ddilyn).
