About this Event

This webinar presents how Anglia Ruskin University have used Myprogress, by MyKnowledgemap, to shift from paper based practice assessment of student nurses to a digital app-based version. This project, which won the e-assessment association innovation of the year award, has transformed the practice assessment of student nurses. The impacts include enhanced quality of assessment feedback to students, decrease in attrition and and increase in good honours degrees.

Siân Shaw is Director of Teaching, Learning & Assessment at Anglia Ruskin University in the Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Work. She is a Principle Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and University Teaching Fellow. Siân is a member of the Intensive Care Society & British Association of Critical Care Nurses. Her research focus is on technology enhanced learning and teaching. In her spare time she enjoys learning to play the harp and open water swimming.
