Overview

Join us to see the work of the next generation of Postgraduates in the Moving Image and Digital Arts Programme.

London College of Communication's Moving Image and Digital Arts (MIDA) programme is excited to showcase its 2025 postgraduates at this invite-only industry event.

Celebrate with us and explore the vibrant array of projects the students have been working hard to create, ranging from VR Experiences, projection mapping, installation and games to animation and short films.

MA Animation, MA 3D Computer Animation, and MA Visual Effects

In addition to a range of works exhibited in the Upper, Well and Atrium Galleries students from these courses will also be hosting screenings of their completed projects followed by panel discussions or Q&A sessions with the makers.

Screening followed by panel discussion

MA Animation: 4pm - 6pm | Lecture Theatre B

MA 3D Computer Animation: 5:30pm – 7pm | Lecture Theatre C

Screening

MA Visual Effects: 7:30pm – 8:30pm | Lecture Theatre C

MA Virtual Reality

Join us in the Well Gallery at our Virtual Reality Industry Event, where the potential of immersive experiences comes to life. You'll get to see VR projects with a mix that includes games, unique art projects and research-based creations. If you're interested in exploring the latest from the VR emerging world, connecting with budding creators or simply networking with peers, this event promises a relaxed yet informative experience.

The installation walkthrough will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Well Gallery

MA Games Design

We will be showcasing the final game projects from this year's MA Games Design students. You will have the chance to play a range of games from different genres and talk to the students directly about their approach to making the games.

As a course, we encourage a focus on the experience of play, creating small but innovative games which are underpinned by academic research. The games created are a culmination of the students' knowledge and understanding of games design; gained both through the course as well as their own personal exploration of the subject.

Come join us in M207 from 2:30pm – 6pm as we play together.
