Moving in Together Workshop
Overview
Moving in Together
Formerly known as Relate, The Relationships Service Recharge & Reset Workshops are two-hour interactive Zoom sessions, facilitated by an experienced counsellor, designed to support individuals and couples at key relationship transitions. Each workshop (6–10 participants, £40 per person) combines informal discussion, structured exercises, research-based input, and personal reflection to help participants explore emotional, practical, and relational issues with clarity. These workshops are suitable for all the people in a relationship and for individuals on their own. (You don’t need to come with your partner).
Our first session on Moving in Together includes exploring past experiences, identifying current expectations, and creating a personalised action plan for future conversations, all within a supportive, confidential group environment.
The workshop covers a wide range of topics, including:
• Communication
• Finances and budgeting as a couple
• Dividing household responsibilities
• Designing shared living spaces
• Managing expectations and boundaries
• Logistical considerations
Aim of the Workshop
To explore important conversations and decisions to make before moving in with a partner/person.
Objective of the Workshop
Knowledge and understanding on emotional, practical and relationship topics before moving in with a partner/person.
Future topics include menopause and relationships, empty nesting, retirement, separation and “conscious uncoupling,” co-parenting after separation, navigating singleness, and preparing for parenthood.
