Moving Into Balance
Overview
Moving Into Balance is a five-week specialist class designed to help your body feel more comfortable and capable again through gentle movement.
If you wake up stiff or achy, or feel stressed and wound up in your body, you are not alone. Many people want to feel more comfortable in their bodies but are unsure where to start, especially after an injury, during busy periods, or when movement has stopped feeling enjoyable. If that sounds familiar, this might help.
What to expect
A calm and supportive space to explore movement. We use simple mat and standing sequences from rehabilitation Pilates, Hanna Somatics and mindful movement to support joints and improve mobility. The focus is on body awareness and nervous system calm, allowing tension to soften without strain. Small changes can make a real difference. Many people notice a lighter mood, more effortless movement and better sleep within a few weeks.
Who is it for
All welcome if you can get on and off the floor unaided and have clearance for general exercise. You do not need to be flexible or fit. Curiosity is enough.
If your body has been asking for something kinder, come and join us. Things could feel easier than they do right now.
