With legally-enforced restrictions being lifted, services will have to make their own decisions on which elements of COVID-safe guidance are maintained. Understanding the vast diversity of our sector, we want to provide an opportunity to discuss how to move forward inclusively in Phase 4 of the roadmap. In this workshop we will explore different scenarios and perspectives, and hope to encourage services to keep inclusivity at the heart of their practice. This session is aimed at professionals exploring changes to services following the move to Phase 4 of the Government roadmap out of lockdown.

As a part of our 'Becoming the Inclusive Archive' strategy, we are committed to making archives truly accessible and inclusive for all, but we also know we cannot do this alone, and that we need to listen and learn as well as share and lead. This workshop will be a collaborative learning experience, using real life scenarios as the basis for discussion, as well as practical suggestions. We hope that this will be a practical, action-oriented workshop where we can unpack some of the complex issues around pursuing and maintaining equality and inclusion during and after a crisis.

As we aim to create a space for open and honest debate, the event will not be recorded, but notes and resources will be shared after the event.

Due to the nature of this session attendees are limited to 20, however if there is a significant amount of interest we will run this as a series of events.
