About Moving Stories
Over the last 2 years, Drama Practitioners from Peoplescape Theatre and Dance Artists from Trinity Laban have worked together with teachers from 6 Lewisham SEND settings to explore how arts-based approaches can support teaching and learning to develop pupils’ communication skills. Artists have experimented with approaches combining dance and drama, sharing skills with teachers, who gradually moved from observers to independent delivery of Moving Stories sessions. How can these approaches be developed and sustained?
