Breathe.Move.Heal CIC inviting you to the healing grief movement, sound and breath workshop led by Tahmina Hakimova-Rees, a certified Grief Educator and Grief Movement Guide.

Grief is often associated with the death of a loved one, but it can arise from many other forms of loss. This workshop creates a safe and supportive space to explore grief in all its forms—whether it’s the loss of a relationship, a change in health, identity, career, or life direction.

Together, we’ll gently unpack what grief can look and feel like, how it moves through us, and how to support ourselves and others through it.

We all experience heartbreak. Loss is universal, and grief exists because our world is constantly changing. The law of nature teaches us that things come and go. The nature of life is impermanence. Loss is inevitable and constant. Whatever is going on right now, good or bad, this too shall pass.

Sometimes change can be exciting. We like it when good things come that enhance our lives. But when we become attached to things and they leave, we experience grief. Remember that crying is a natural part of healing when you’re heartbroken and lonely, longing for what you’re missing, and yearning for the way things were. Grief is here to help heal the pain; it’s a quiet energy that can nurture a broken heart.

To process grief, you have to feel it. Feel your disappointment, fear, and sadness. Connect to where you’re feeling these emotions in your body. Instead of thinking about it, surrender to the feeling.

What to Expect:

We will begin with a exploration of grief theory and emotions to understand how loss impacts us on emotional, physical, and energetic levels. Then, we’ll move into grief movement, breathwork, and sound to support emotional release and reconnection with the body. The session will close with a gentle meditation and a deeply relaxing sound bath to soothe the nervous system and integrate your experience.

This workshop is for the women navigating loss—whatever that loss may be. Come as you are - no previous experience is needed.

Please note this workshop is a women only, only 8 spaces availabe. The workshop will take place at the Canvas room of St.Margaret's House, which is next to the road and AYOKA charity shop.
