Moving Through Menopause - Train Like A Woman
Date and time
Location
Online event
How to train like a woman to stay strong, healthy and as part of an effective plan for menopausal weight management.
About this event
A new saying has emerged on the fitness scene; Women are not small men.
As such we have to train and eat differently to our male counterparts.
Also...remember all those hours you have sweated and punished your body at the back of a class or on a treadmill or in front of a TV to the latest celebrity video?! Once we women approach 40, this style of working out is no longer fit for purpose.
You can forget the scales too. It is going to be about body composition going forward.
I have got exciting and liberating news for you when it comes to training like a woman in her FTIES (forties & fifties!) and you'll train like it for the rest of your life too, I can guarantee it - because it's kind of fun and makes you feel good and look great.
I want to release women from years of body hating, punishing and shaming. I want to empower you to get strong to do all the things you have ever wanted to do and more.
Emily Sheridan is a PT, Yoga Instructor and women's health coach. Her specialism comes from never being the perceived 'skinniest' of 'fittest' person in the room and yo-yo-ing with weight throughout her life. Having tried every quick fix and diet fad going; she can empathise strongly with the trials and tribulations of weight and the strong emotions and mental anguish that attach themselves to how we feel about our body.
OUR FINAL SESSION IN THE MOVING THROUGH MENOPAUSE SERIES:
