Moya Silk is the alt-rock project of Exeter’s own Jaz Pearce, blending the raw textures of shoegaze, grunge, and ‘90s indie into something fiercely personal and irresistibly loud. With lyrics rooted in the mundane beauty of everyday life, Moya Silk delivers sharp hooks, distorted guitars, and unapologetically powerful vocals. Think PJ Harvey meets Courtney Barnett with a shot of Nirvana grit.
This show marks a special milestone - Moya Silk’s first full-band hometown performance since the release of their brand new EP, Posing Like Auteurs. Fresh off a UK/EU tour, this is the official homecoming gig, and we’re pulling out all the stops to make it unforgettable.
Support on the night comes from Francesca Brown, a local singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt lyrics and beautifully raw performances.
