You are welcome to attend this forum regardless of which hospital you attend or where you live in Ireland or the UK, if you are prepared to travel to attend then we will be more than happy to see you. You are very welcome to bring family and friends with you. There is no fee to attend, complimentary refreshments and a buffet lunch will be served during the day.
Programme - The programme will include talks from: Dr Eibhlin Conneally, Consultant Haematologist St James’ Hospital, Dublin; Dr Clodagh Keohane, Consultant Haematologist, Mercy Hospital, Cork; Dr Claire Andrews, Consultant Haematologist, St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin; Prof Mary Frances McMullin, Consultant Haematologist, Queen’s University, Belfast; Mary Kelly, ANP (advanced nurse practitioner) Midland Hospital, Tullamore, plus patient speakers, and breakout groups for each MPN where patients can meet in smaller groups to discuss everyday challenges and swap tips and chat with other people who have the same MPN, there will also be a family and friends group, this gives your family and friends a chance to chat to others about how to help and support you and themselves.
Filming/video of forum - this forum will be filmed with an on-demand video of the full event (excluding breakout groups) available post-forum on the MPN Voice YouTube channel. The forum will not be live streamed.
