MOTTO:
A CANDLE LOSSES NOTHING BY LIGHTING ANOTHER CANDLE!!!!!
Description
Mr & Miss Black Beauty FOUNDATION is an award winning charity. It aims are; to offer and assist children in Africa and the Caribbean from a background of extreme poverty, the opportunity to fulfil their true potential in life by helping them to successfully gain an education.

Mr & Miss Black Beauty Foundation was founded in 2011, by Alicia Martina Hixon, after her visit to Africa. What she saw was the same social and personal problems in some Caribbean islands that she had the privileged to visited, where poverty hinders the educational development of young boys and girls. The same commonality between these places that are guarantee to every child listed under Article 26 of The Universal Declaration of Human Right was lacking. Their basic educational right that’s guarantee to them was not there.

Unlike most similar charities, we are run by volunteers and have no offices, so virtually every penny we receive goes straight to schools and students in these poor areas in underdeveloped countries. The Aims of the charity are: To improve the living conditions, the educational standards and facilities in a number of African and Caribbean communities.

Objectives:

• To work with street and underprivileged children and enable them to obtain an education.

•To provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment to the orphans that live at the centre.

•To offer continued educational support to children who we have sent to school.

• To raise funds for individual schools to buy essential equipment and materials and practically help with minor and major building projects.

•To empower people within the local community to transform their lives and have hope for the future.

Currently our work focuses in education projects in the West Africa region of Sierra Leone, with hopes to proudly delivering the following:

•Improved Resources and Facilities

•Introduction and Delivery of Pre Primary Classes

•Support and Sponsorship

•Local Job Opportunities and Training
