Join us at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoons from 19th July to 16th August at Albion Place Gardens to find out why Ramsgate was a popular destination for visitors like Emma Hamilton, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Caroline of Brunswick, and many more. Uncover the gossip, secrets, and scandals of this vibrant and saucy era.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can be in a group?

The limit is 20 so that everyone can hear and follow the tour safely.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

I'm very sorry but unfortunately the tour involves a flight of steps up to Sion Hill.

Can I park near Albion Place Gardens?

There is pay and display in Wellington Crescent or a few minutes walk away in the Royal Harbour Car Park in Leopold Street.

Can I turn up without a ticket?

Yes, but if the tour is full I'm afraid we won't be able to accommodate you. Otherwise it would be a cash-only payment of £9.

In the event of bad weather will the event be cancelled?

Light rain won't stop us, but if it's hammering down then the event is likely to be cancelled and refunds will be available. Do bring a brolly if the forecast looks suspect.

Can my dog come too?

Mrs Fox welcomes well-behaved dogs at no extra charge!

Is the tour suitable for children?

Yes, but bear in mind it is a 2-hour walk so a level of stamina is required! Accompanied children under 12 go free.
