Workshop One - Executive Golf 101 – Cindy Miller

Would you like to feel confident attending a golf tournament and “play your own game” knowing you are making a contribution to your foursome?

Join professional golfer and TV personality Cindy Miller who will teach you the secrets of what to do at a golf tournament, help you feel comfortable with your own swing and deliver a strategy that can help you play with confidence at any level. To maximize the benefits of this highly interactive session, attendance is limited to 36 attendees. Wear comfortable clothing.

Workshop Two – Be Strong, Stand Up, Stand Out - Pattie Grimm

This interactive session will focus on empowering women to understand how to leverage their strengths and how to “thrive” in IT.   This session will provide practical exercises and tips which can be applied immediately such as:

1.    How to be strong and assertive without being perceived as “aggressive”.

2.    How to stand up in meetings and have an impact on the business.

3.    How to stand out and help other women (especially young women) thrive in the future.

As the President of Advantage Performance & Training, Pattie is an expert in change leadership, leader and team development and a sought-after professional coach. She specializes in helping organizations and leaders built their capacity, capability and commitment to thrive in today’s turbulent times.

Workshop Three – How to Navigate Office Politics – Jennifer Mauney

Are office politics helping or harming your career? Politics are at play in virtually every organization, but how you handle sensitive workplace situations can make or break your professional prospects. This presentation reviews the common types of “political players” in the workplace, how to navigate office politics without compromising your career, and how managers can “lobby” for a winning workplace.

Join dynamic speaker and presenter, Jenifer Mauney, VP Strategic Accounts for Robert Half Technology for this highly rated presentation where you will learn the secrets to navigating minefields in the workplace. During Jenifer’s 13 year tenure with Robert Half she has been an enthusiastic supporter of IAMCP with the majority of her focus in the Microsoft arena.
