16; Introduction to Residential Experiences – Enables leaders to understand the role that residential experiences play in Scouting. The module covers topics including the importance of residential experiences in scouting, programme planning, permits, risk assessment and a range of practical skills.
The programme will be a mixture of group sessions and lectures along with outdoor physical and team building activities. A summary programme will be emailed upon receipt of payment along with an advisory kit list.
There will be a creche facility available for younger children. Tickets for the creche must be booked above via the 'Child ticket'. Child tickets are for children aged between 5-14 years. Children under the age of 5 are free of charge but are the responsibility of their parents throughout the programme.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
All attendees will be emailed a copy of an advisory kit list on completion of their booking.
What will the accommodation be?
All the accommodation on Friday night will be indoors in dorms with bunk beds. Males and females will be in separate buildings. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag (and a pillow if necessary). There will be the option of sleeping outdoors in tents on the Saturday night (those who have their own tents may bring them, but tents will be provided).
