Since graduating from the MSLS programme, Jennifer Woofter has spent the past two decades at the forefront of corporate sustainability. As President of Strategic Sustainability Consulting, she built a multimillion-dollar firm and a network of more than 600 sustainability professionals, supporting organizations around the world as they grapple with rapidly changing expectations. Over the years, Jennifer has been directly shaping (and shaped by) the field as it evolved—from pioneering early approaches to corporate social responsibility, to advancing sustainability as a core business driver, to helping companies navigate the structured frameworks of ESG.

Now back in Sweden, Jennifer is pursuing doctoral research at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, exploring how Business Intelligence and Big Data Analytics can help organizations navigate sustainability risks and opportunities. It feels like her career has come full circle—bringing her back to where her journey began, while carrying with her the lessons and stories of twenty years in the field.
