Is your business ready for Making Tax Digital for VAT?

Come along to our free MTD4VAT event in conjunction with Cirencester Growth Hub!

Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTD4VAT) launches on 1 April 2019.

After this date, any business with a turnover above the VAT threshold of £85,000 – which includes the majority of farms and rural businesses - will need to keep digital records and report them on a quarterly basis.

To help businesses prepare for these changes, McGills chartered accountants, in conjunction with Cirencester Growth Hub, will be holding a FREE ‘MTD4VAT Awareness Day’.

Programme of events:

9:30am to 11:00am - MTD4VAT Awareness presentation – practical help for businesses currently using manual systems or spreadsheets.

11:30am to 1:00pm - Upgrading your systems for MTD4VAT presentation – aimed at businesses who may currently be using older versions of SAGE (V23 and below) who need to upgrade to become MTD4VAT compliant.

2:00pm to 4:00pm - ‘Ask The Expert’ clinic – book an appointment to receive one-to-one advice from one of our experts. If you are interested in this, please email us at sjd@mcgills.co.uk.
