#MTFResearch Network Symposium: Free registration
The #MTFResearch Network is an international community for research and innovation at the intersection of Music and Technology, rooted in the field of Human Music Interaction. Since its launch as part of Music Tech Fest Scandinavia, #MTFResearch is developing as a context for interacting and collaborating with people working across the wide spectrum of disciplines and discourses surrounding Human Music Interaction.
HMI lies in the intersection between science, technology and the arts and humanities, exploring what music means to us and our communities as well as how it can improve and enrich our lives.
The #MTFResearch network symposium and meeting takes place on Monday the 21st of September, following Music Tech Fest Central in Ljubljana, which takes place from the 18th to the 20th. We invite you to join our ever-growing ecosystem of thinkers, technologists, academics, practitioners, artists and designers to discuss and share ideas from the festival and from your own work.
The symposium is a forum for discussion of research possibilities and potential collaborations, as well as a platform to connect the work that we already do with that of others from related fields. The symposium is a free event, but registration is essential and places are limited.
NOTE: We recommend that attendees of the #MTFResearch symposium also register for the Music Tech Fest itself. #MTFCentral takes place at Cankarjev Dom from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September, and the ideas performed and presented at the festival will be discussed at the #MTFResearch symposium.
