Event description

Description

Drop by and have a coffee, a snack or a spot of lunch with MaternityTeachers and PaternityTeachers and their babies at the Grand Court cafe at the British museum. Find out more about the project; swap CPD successes; hear tips for overcoming barriers to CPD; share stories of parental leave reflections and experiences and network with like minded teachers and educators. Big kids, tiny babies, screamers and crawlers all welcome.

The MTPT Project's Emma Sheppard will be hosting on one of the long tables in the cafe with son, Hugo and new bump, and will settle down at 10:00am with a cappucino. Feel free to drop in and out between 10am-2pm at whatever time suits you and your children, and to explore the museum afterwards. Check out Verena Hefti's take on the attraction of the Egyption section to small babies here.

The date was decided by a very brief Twitter poll, so if it doesn't suit you, please let us know on Twitter (@maternityCPD) or by contacting us. Depending on responses, we can always organise or a different day, or schedule another date for the Autumn.

Looking forward to meeting you and catching up!
