FREE* 6-week course for adults aged 19+

Join us on this mindful course to craft functional mugs, with a twist! You will make a mug and create a fantastical face on it - this might be a selfie, a pop star or other famous person. Using terracotta clay and colourful slips (coloured liquid clay) your work will be fired and glazed as earthenware before being returned to you to keep. Please bring an apron, or wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy!

This is a pottery course for beginners - no experience needed.

Times and Attending

This friendly class takes place Tuesdays from 23 September.

We start at 10am and finish at 12:30pm. There will be a short break with tea and coffee provided.

This is a 6-week course - ends Tuesday 4 November when we will hand back your work (firing schedule permitting). No sessions on 28 October (half term).

Venue

This class takes place in the Parish Room at St David's Church, Exeter. The Room is situated to the side of the church, off Queen's Terrace,and directly opposite Exeter College - look out for our pink banner!

This space is fully accessible.

Commitment: we ask that learners endeavour to commit to the full course to enable everyone to get the most from the sessions.

Courses are popular - there's a wait-list, please advise us if you are no longer able to attend the course so we can offer your place to somebody else.
