Multiagency C-Scheme Update Training on Wednesday 20th July 2022

About the C-Scheme:

Derbyshire and Derby City C-Scheme provides condoms to young people via a coordinated, multiagency, quality-driven distribution network for young people aged 13 - 24 who:

• Are considered to be at risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and/or unplanned pregnancies

• Require access to supplies of free condoms and confidential sexual health information

About the C-Scheme Update training:

This 90 minutes training course is for existing organisation and staff who have been distribute free condoms and lube under to young people aged 13-24 years via C-Card.

The training will provide a update on C-Scheme (replacing C-Card) to facilitate organisation to continue to register young people, and issue condoms to young people within their setting under the Derbyshire and Derby City C-Scheme.

The training will cover:

• registration of your organisation to provide C-Scheme on

•ISHS free condom HUB account

•monitoring, reporting and stock process for C-Scheme

•YSHM services and signposting

Who is C-Scheme Update training aimed at?

Existing C-Card organisations and staff who have previously undertaken the full C-Card registration training within the last 2 years are eligible for the C-Scheme update training.

All organisation delivering the C-Scheme will need to identify a Lead and complete an online registration for the HUB. Upon registration welcome packs containing all the resources you need to start C-Scheme delivery will be allocated to your organisation.

This event is free for professionals working with 13-24 years olds in Derbyshire and Derby City to attend and will be held virtually via MS Teams
