Description

The Management of the Critically Ill Burns Patient Course is a one-day event showcasing the role of the multi-disciplinary team in improving patient outcome. Many of the complexities involved in the management of the critically ill burns patient will be covered, including anaesthesia, surgical strategies, intensive care, ongoing burns research and the longer term psychological issues that patients can have following a burns injury.

This year, there will be particular emphasis on major incidents and the Grenfell fire

Who should attend?

All interested people are welcome including intensivists, anaesthetists, surgeons, microbiologists, researchers, nurses, ODPs, pharmacists, dieticians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and psychologists.

What is the cost?

The course costs £100 for doctors and £50 for nurses, AHPs and students

Are coffee and lunch included in the fee?

Yes, coffee and lunch are provided

Has the event been approved for CPD points?

CPD accreditation from the Royal College of Anaesthetists has been applied for
