Concert-exhibition celebrating the musical heritage of composer Alexander Arutiunian

About this event

Klingen Choir and Cultural Association under the auspices of the Embassy of Armenia in the UK has taken the opportunity to organise a concert-exhibition “Multinational tribute to Alexander Arutiunian”.

Event will take place in St Cuthbert’s church, Earls Court, Kensington on Saturday, 21st May 2022 at 19:00.

Program: Concerto for Violin & string orchestra, capriccio for cello & orchestra, choir and solo songs, solo instrumental pieces by the magnificent composer.

Masterpieces by legendary composer Arutiunian will be performed by internationally acclaimed professional musicians Ani Batikyan- violin, Sipan Olah -tenor & conductor, Christopher Hedges-cello, Hayarpi Yeghikyan – soprano, Narine Msalkhasyan –soprano, Maria Palazian – piano, Klingen Choir and Klingen Chamber Orchestra.

Special picture exhibition will be presented by artists Anna Virabyan & Narine Malkhasyan.

Free refreshments will be available at the break of the concert.
