Rosie Strickland is a campaign strategist, designer and art director. Her design consultancy Disobedient Design supports organisations and groups to design systemic interventions for social and ecological justice. Rosie is a self-taught graphic designer, with a background in designing direct actions for Greenpeace. She started her career at the Centre for Alternative Technology where she developed a passion for sustainable architecture as well as hands-on building skills. Rosie designs strategic interventions that cut-through public space, often by changing the way we see and experience the built environment. Rosie is a passionate advocate for design as a driving force for social change. She studied a BA in Comparative Literature (2008), and MA Design: Expanded Practice (2018) at Goldsmiths College, University of London. MULTISTORY* is a student and alumni led guest lecture programme series at Canterbury School of Architecture, University for the Creative Arts, seeking to invite architects, designers, writers, curators, photographers and artists to speak about their work.

MULTISTORY* lectures run from 1800 – 1900 on Thursday evenings, online until further notice. Please ensure you have registered for this event before 1600 on the day.
