MumSpace is a compassionate talking group designed for mothers to come together in their shared experiences.
There are countless groups that focus on babies and young children. MumSpace is different - it is for mothers. Here, you can openly discuss your experiences and reflect on the challenges of motherhood in a supportive space, knowing that you are not alone. MumSpace is inspired by a longstanding group called ‘Mothers Talking’ that was run until this year by a psychotherapist called Naomi Stadlen.
MumSpace is a sharing group, rather than a formal therapy group. There is no pressure to speak; just come and listen if you prefer. The group is gently facilitated so that you can get a chance to share, if you want to. The group is for mothers of children of any age - we are all constantly learning and adapting. If you have a young, pre-verbal baby (i.e., up to 12-15 months), you can bring them along.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions we can have a chat to see if MumSpace could be a supportive space for you!
