Murmuration Instameet at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve
Sat 19 November 2016, 14:00 – 17:00 GMT
Join us to witness one of nature's most spectacular sights, just 5 miles from Coventry city centre! Each Winter, starling flocks come together at dusk to form a murmuration, an acrobatic mass comprised of thousands of birds, which sweeps across the sky before coming in to roost amongst the reedbeds.
Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve is the headquarters of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and is made up of 220 acres of wonderful scenery and filled with fantastic wildlife. We will be meeting in the Badgers Tea Room at 2.00pm (please arrive by 1.50pm) for a walk around the reserve before taking position to enjoy the murmuration at 3.45pm. It is an exceptional chance to experience (and photograph!) a truly mesmerising natural event.
Please note that entry to the Nature Reserve costs £2.50 for adults, £1.50 concessions, £1.00 children and is free for Wildlife Trust members. Given the nature of wild animals, this event is subject to change.
