Museum Lates & Live Music at Leighton House Museum
Late openings at Leighton House provide visitors with the chance to enjoy the Museum and visit our current exhibition, Pre-Raphaelites on Paper. Victorian Drawings from the Lanigan Collection 'out of hours’. With an atmosphere of their own, there is also the chance to enjoy live music and complimentary refreshments.
FRIDAY 15 April: Live Jazz from 6.30pm with Martin Speake's Mafarowi. A newly formed project by saxophonist and composer Martin Speake to reflect his interest in rhythmic music from around the world including Arabic/Indian and Turkish influences. Martin and his band return to Leighton House after their succesful launching - gig in January this year.
FRIDAY 20 May: Live piano from 6.15 - 8.15pm with composer & multi-instrumentalist Zac Gvi. Apart from playing piano, saxophone, accordion, clarinet and keyboards, super-talented Zac has composed soundstracks and performed live for theatre, film and dance.
