About the Museum Learning Network

Working collaboratively with a wide range of museum learning practitioners, Museum Development Midlands (MDM) is committed to honouring the voice of these practitioners and developing a Museum Learning Network that offers a safe and supportive forum for the sharing of good practice, resources, ideas, knowledge and experiences. A network that has collaboration and sharing at its heart.

MDM will strive to grow a community of practice providing strategic support based on robust needs analysis through ongoing consultation. Through the network MDM will deliver high quality training and development, and mechanisms that ‘connect’ practitioners in a purposeful way (both on-line and face to face). The shared goal is to better develop innovative and creative ways of supporting museum learning and ensure best outcomes for all.

- Co-constructed by delegates attending “Co-Constructing a Museum Learning Network” 2024.

Who should attend?

This event is open to all staff and volunteers undertaking museum learning work in the Midlands.
