PLEASE NOTE: This session is for museums, heritage & arts organisations in Kent & Medway - if you are not one of these, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Securing the Future of our Past is an exciting 2 year Arts Council England-funded project, which aims to widen the diversity of the Powell-Cotton Museum's audience and increase access to the collection. Central to this idea is to redevelop one of their galleries to become an area for research, play and interactive learning. The content of the space will be determined through extensive dialogue and consultation with the public.
The decant of the current gallery took place in December 2013 and January 2014, and the team hope to share their experiences and lessons learnt with you through this event.
For photographs of the process, follow the Powell-Cotton Museum on Facebook to keep up to date.
