Event description
Drawing together museum staff who wish to develop their understanding and practice of neurodivergence to discuss and engage with each other.

About this event

This is the inaugural meeting of the Museums and Neurodiversity Network. The aim is to increase awareness, acknowledgement, and understanding of neurodivergence and how museums can and should respond to neurodivergent audiences, volunteers, and workforce.

In this first meeting, we invite all those with an interest in, lived experience of, or professional experience of, museums and neurodivergence. This may be through experience museums as a visitor, or it may be through developing neurodivergent provision.

The event is free of charge and will be held via zoom. Please let us know of any access requirements we can provide to support your attendance.

Organiser of Museums and Neurodiversity Network

We are the sector support organisation for sporting heritage in the UK. Our aims are to support the protection, preservation, display research and access of sporting heritage collections - objects, archives, ephemera, stories, songs and folklore. We celebrate sporting heritage through a range of activities including our flagship campaign, National Sporting Heritage Day, held on the 30th September every year.
