We're excited to be bringing Museums Showoff to Norwich in partnership with Museums Norfolk.

Museums Showoff is the open mic night where people who work in and love museums tell us why in any way they like. It features behind-the-scenes stories and intriguing insights told through talks, song, poetry, jokes and more, by the people who know. The line up features curators, conservators, archaeologists, educators, explainers, museum studies student and theorists from some of Norfolk's favourite museums. Full details of who will be performing can be found here: http://museumsshowoff.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/norwich-line-up/.

Advance booking is recommended as only a limited number of seats will be available on the night on a first come first served basis.

There is no fixed charge for this event but a donation is requested on the door in support of the OPEN Youth Trust, which exists exclusively to benefit young people by creating sustainable services and facilities. We suggest a donation of £5.

A bar will be available.

Sponsored by Museums Norfolk: www.museumsnorfolk.org.uk.
