Fancy having a go at being a music lyricist and producer?

Join our confidence-boosting Music Workshop with prominent UK based artist and songwriter SILVASTONE.

SILVASTONE combines his African heritage with European influences to create a unique afrofusion sound.

Join us for this fun-filled day making music and learn from SILVASTONE on the importance of perseverance, resilience, and how to find the confidence to overcome any barriers.

We will focus on building confidence, sharing ideas and creating music together, aiming to create an original track by the end of the day.

This event is free for all to attend.

Age recommendation - This event is recommended for children ages 7-18.

Arrival time - Please arrive onsite ready for a 10.30am start so that the days activities are not delayed and everyone has time to get settled in. The event is due to end at 3.00pm.

Refreshments - We will be providing lunch and refreshments for everyone on the day. Parents will also be able to sit in the cafe onsite, whilst the workshop takes place.

Ticket allocation - Each booking is restricted to the wish children in a household and a parent/carer and their siblings. Please ensure you book a ticket for the wish child as well as any siblings.

As places are limited, please let us know if you can no longer attend as we will be running a waiting list.

Photos - We will be taking photographs during the event which may be used on our social media platforms and website. By attending this event, you are agreeing for Rays of Sunshine to use any photos taken during the day to help promote the charities work.

Wheelchair users - the venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Getting there - Woolwich Works can be travelled to via the Underground, DLR or National Rail. The closest stations are:

Underground - Woolwich station is on the Elizabeth Line. It is a 3-minute walk from the venue.

DLR - Nearest station is Woolwich Arsenal which is a 7-minute walk.

National Rail - nearest station is Woolwich Arsenal which is a 7-minute walk.

If you are planning to drive please be aware there is no on-site parking at Woolwich Works.
